My cousin Shad was able to get Rachel and Austin into the CMT Awards at the Sommet Center in Nashville, so the four of us headed to Music City on Tuesday. We stayed in a hotel just a couple blocks from the Sommet Center, so Fisher and I walked with the kids to the show. Once they got in, we strolled around and checked everything out. It was wild, especially in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Fans had gathered to try to catch a glipse of celebrities as they walked the red carpet - we didn't stick around for that. Instead, we strolled down Broadway and checked out the Honky Tonks. We watched the awards back in our room while Rachel and Austin watched from the front row, live and in person! They had an awesome time, getting to shake hands with Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift, Darius Rucker (Hootie!) and a guitarist from Def Leopard.
Our little Fisher sure can entertain himself. Rachel and I caught him climbing through the desk in the hotel and just hanging out there for a couple minutes. Little monkey!
